Recorders

I play a recorder. In fact, it looks exactly like the ones in the picture. In the dictionary, the definition for a recorder is "a primitive form of a flute." It has the notes from low C to high G. I can play by ear or by notes, and it is very easy to learn. If you're interested in getting a recorder, well, I got mine from "Love to Learn". They have a website. You can get 2 recorders just like these from them for $5.95, and they also have several choices for recorder books to help you learn to play. I recommend the program "Recorder Fun", which has a book and demonstration/play-along CD, for $7.95 (that's what I used).

that was the instrument they gave EVERYONE at a school I once attended. if any of my friends ever make me angry, it will be a toss-up: do I give their kids harmonicas, drums...or recorders? worse than a tuba. But at least one friend turned his love of the recorder into some pretty good clarinet skills. fun instrument in the end.
